Employment Services Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Services Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a high-performing team to deliver person-centred support, help clients build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful sustainable work.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing coaching, mentoring, and leadership to your team. You will work closely with employers to strengthen partnerships that create opportunities for inclusive employment and translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.

You will be responsible for monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and leading by example. A strong understanding of employment services and program guidelines is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support a high-performing team to deliver person-centred support, help clients build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful sustainable work.
  • Mentor and coach team members to achieve outcomes, drive performance, and foster growth.
  • Work with employers to strengthen partnerships that create opportunities for inclusive employment.
  • Translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable.
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends.
