Administrative Support Specialist, Magistrates' Court of Victoria

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
Job Description- Provide administrative support to the judiciary and court users, ensuring timely and accurate processing of cases.
- Assist with various tasks in the registry, including responding to enquiries, performing administrative duties, and coordinating the movement of parties within a courtroom environment.
- Bench clerking in a courtroom, supporting the Magistrate with a wide variety of cases, involving making announcements, swearing in witnesses, operating complex technology, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Confident and professional demeanour, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient in using technology, including software systems, audio recording equipment, and videoconferencing platforms.
- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate service excellence, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Fulfilling role contributing to the provision of justice to Victorian communities.
