Job Description

This role provides administrative and project support to the Program, including to the Executive Lead and Program Staff. You will be responsible for acting as the central contact and communications point for the Unit, supporting the delivery of gatherings and events, and coordinating communications.

A critical aspect of this role is working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and organisations to self-determine their own solutions, exercise their rights, and have a strong voice in decisions that affect their lives.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Act as the central contact, communication, and administrative management point for the Unit.
  • In collaboration with Programs staff, support the delivery of gatherings and events: meetings, logistics, financial, and administrative functions, community and participant liaison.
  • Assist the team with the coordination and upkeep of communications, including website, applications, and other communications as needed.
