Live Event Technology Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Live Event Technology Specialist to serve as the technical foundation behind Australia's most spectacular live events. This hybrid role combines office-based system administration with dynamic field deployments across NSW's premier entertainment venues, stadiums, and event spaces.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile events, utilising your technical expertise in IT support to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Operations
    1. Developing and implementing bespoke IT solutions to meet the requirements of events across Australia
    2. Providing expert on-site IT support for our diverse event portfolio
    3. Managing Windows 10/11, Windows IoT, Windows Server 2019/2022 environments
    4. Installing point-of-sale systems at various locations and temporary events
    5. Maintaining ticketing IT infrastructure and access control systems at client venues
    6. Coordinating preventative maintenance schedules and responding to urgent technical requirements
    7. Utilizing JIRA to track, document, and resolve technical issues with detailed reporting
    8. Managing I.T. collateral such as servers, switches, WAPs
    9. Configuring VPN connections and network services for temporary event deployments
  2. Client & Venue Management
    1. Collaborating professionally with clients to ensure seamless event delivery
    2. Providing technical guidance and support during high-pressure event situations
    3. Maintaining accurate configuration documentation and system records
    4. Ensuring prompt response to service desk requests with comprehensive fault resolution tracking
About You

We're looking for someone with hands-on technical expertise in IT support, ideally with L1/L2 environments or field service roles. Your background includes working across multiple locations, providing technical support directly to end-users, and managing IT infrastructure in dynamic environments.

As a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, you'll thrive in this fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.
