At Community Housing Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Responsive Maintenance Officer to join our team.

About the Role

The Responsive Maintenance Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members by conducting regular property assessments, addressing maintenance issues, and reporting on findings. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes within set timeframes and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough property assessments to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with vulnerable individuals and stakeholders to provide professional support and services.
  • Work closely with technical consultants and contractors to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform asset management decisions and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in a relevant trade, such as Building and/or Carpentry.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS practices and experience working with MS Office programs, including Excel.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to various locations.
