We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at the Australian Defence Force Health Centre in Duntroon, ACT. This role suits experienced professionals from various disciplines, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, and more, who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of military personnel.

The Opportunity:

We're on a growth journey, and we're seeking talented and motivated Allied Health clinicians to partner with Defence personnel who have sustained injuries or trauma. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you'll work closely with them to assess their needs, develop strategies, and implement plans to facilitate their recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified with current clinical skills or rehabilitation counselling skills
  • Holds a full registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., APHRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW)
  • At least 6-12 months' experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (desirable)
  • Holds a full driver's license
  • Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning abilities and highly effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
