APM is a nationwide allied health and occupational rehabilitation service provider. We are proud to be partnering with BUPA to support the health and well-being of the Australian Defence Force personnel.

The opportunity suits an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant or an experienced Clinician (OT, Physio, EP, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counsellor, RN, or Psychologist) who desires to support and give back to our military personnel.

The successful candidate will be partnering with Defence personnel who have sustained an injury or trauma. Partnering with them and supporting them in their recovery journey, some of their responsibilities will be to assess and identify their needs to develop and then implement strategies to enable their rehabilitation.

The Opportunity:

We're on a growth journey and we are looking for talented, motivated, and enthusiastic Allied Health clinicians from the following disciplines; Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Exercise Physiology / Rehabilitation Counselling / Social Work/Mental Health Nurses / Provisional Psychologists and Psychologists.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be working with Defence personnel who have sustained an injury or trauma. Your responsibilities will include assessing and identifying their needs to develop and then implement strategies to enable their rehabilitation.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree qualified with current clinical skills or rehabilitation counselling skills
  • Hold a full registration with a relevant professional body
  • At least 6-12 months experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (desirable)
  • Hold a full driver's license
  • Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning abilities and possess highly effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • An unrelenting passion to help people rehabilitate and transform into the best version of themselves
