With an exciting opportunity for a full-time ADF Rehabilitation Specialist to join our passionate team in the ACT, we're looking for experienced professionals to work with the Australian Defence Force at the Health Centre in Duntroon.

This opportunity suits Rehabilitation Consultants or Clinicians with OT, Physio, EP, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling, RN1, provisional psychologist, and psychologist backgrounds who want to make a difference by supporting military personnel. The Opportunity:

We're growing and seeking talented, motivated Allied Health clinicians from Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Mental Health Nurses, Provisional Psychologists, and Psychologists.

As an ADF Rehabilitation Specialist, you'll partner with Defence personnel who have sustained injuries or trauma, assessing their needs and developing strategies to enable their rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify Defence personnel's needs
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation strategies
  • Collaborate with Defence teams to provide comprehensive care

Successful Candidate:

  • Degree qualified with current clinical skills or rehabilitation counselling skills
  • Full registration with relevant professional bodies (APHRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW)
  • At least 6-12 months experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (desirable)
  • Full driver's license
  • Sound clinical reasoning abilities and effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
