About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Area Manager to join our team at Amazon. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in our distribution centre, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of associates in our distribution centre, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our logistics processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of associates.

Requirements

  • Completed a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as logistics, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with associates, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
