HR Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled HR professional to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that employees feel supported and empowered within our organization.
Your primary responsibility will be to investigate employee grievances and provide timely and effective resolutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external providers, to ensure that all concerns are addressed fairly and consistently.
In addition to your investigatory work, you will also provide general HR advice and support to employees and people leaders across the organization. This may include answering questions, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and helping to resolve workplace issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. You will also need to be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances in a fair and timely manner
- Provide general HR advice and support to employees and people leaders
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to address workplace issues and concerns
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to employee grievances and investigations
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field (desirable)
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, with a focus on employee relations and investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
