Claims Resolution Specialist

This role involves coordinating and administering insurance and liability claims to ensure timely and fair resolution. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will work in a collaborative team environment contributing to important community services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and settle under-excess claims for the best possible outcomes for all parties involved.
- Support the implementation of risk management strategies through insurance renewal programs.
- Assist with Business Continuity Management to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity of essential services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Council's Risk Management Framework and Action Plan.
- Experience in high-volume insurance claims management within local government.
- ANZIIF qualifications are highly desirable, but not essential.
- Strong administrative skills and systems experience are required to manage claims efficiently.
- Knowledge of risk management practices is essential to identify and mitigate potential risks.
