As an Operations Excellence Expert at Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), you will have the opportunity to drive end-to-end delivery and communicate results to senior leadership. You will be responsible for defining and executing program requirements, as well as driving process improvements and stakeholder management.



About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team and work on cross-functional projects related to the improvement and growth of the service. You will be responsible for evaluating the efficiency of the vendor's supply chain processes, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities, and prescribing improvement strategies.



Key Responsibilities


  • Analyse operational defects and identify root causes for financial deductions, define joint action plan with the vendor and enable implementation.
  • Facilitate regular progress reviews with vendors to create sustainable long-term results.
  • Cooperate and build trusting relationship across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization.
  • Organise and run two-day Kaizen workshops with internal and external attendees, including visits to the vendor's warehouse(s) and Amazon Fulfillment Centres.
  • Work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related to the improvement and growth of the service.

Requirements


  • Experience defining and executing program requirements.
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
