The role of Head of Fed Square Operations is a pivotal position that shapes the future of Melbourne's iconic public and cultural landmark, Fed Square.

This leadership position oversees operations, assets, and the annual capital works program, driving strategy to deliver outstanding cultural, commercial, and community outcomes. The successful candidate will manage property and tenancies to ensure optimal use of space, coordinating with stakeholders including cultural institutions, hospitality partners, tenants, contractors, and government agencies.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Proven senior leadership experience in precinct or asset management
  • Expertise in operations, property or asset management, with a strong understanding of compliance obligations (OHS, Building and Environmental codes)
  • Strong commercial and financial skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively

Desirable Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, project or facilities management
  • Postgraduate studies in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a similar environment, such as a large public space or cultural institution
