What You Can Expect

As a Sales Manager in our BU Decanter team, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that offers incredible scope for growth and development. You'll work closely with our global sales and service group, which includes around 4,000 professionals across 26 sales companies in 100 countries.

About The Job

You'll be responsible for developing highly profitable quotes that reflect customer needs and provide unique selling points. You'll use commercial data, technical knowledge of Alfa Laval products, and market applications to make recommendations that overcome customer challenges.

Key tasks include:

  • Developing quotes that meet customer needs and provide unique selling points
  • Using CRM tools and other tools to support the sales process and make informed decisions
  • Mentoring Field Sales Engineers in the sales process
  • Knowledge of the wastewater industry, tendering process, and contracts
  • Sales responsibility for decanters, other separation products, and relevant products for wastewater applications across Australia
  • Working effectively across different functions to support the sales and tendering process
  • Reviewing and executing contracts according to Alfa Laval standards
  • Liaising with our global Business Unit Decanters to support customers
  • Working with Service Operations & Projects team to offer customers support during the execution phase and product lifecycle
About You

We're looking for a curious and driven individual who is passionate about delivering results. You'll have an engineering background, preferably in wastewater or mechanical environments, with a focus on decanters, other separation products, and relevant applications.

Excellent people and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as an engineering mindset to identify challenges, needs, and solutions. Experience with data analysis is an advantage, but we'll support you in growing your skills and knowledge in this area.
