About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at BTA Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with our customers in the southeast Queensland region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and exceed targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and promoting our products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong relationships
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyse market data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable success in external sales, ideally within the building & construction industry
  • Resilience & self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively on all levels
  • Be highly organised & strategic in your sales approach
