Are you a sales professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We have an exciting role for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at BTA Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales excellence and fostering customer relationships across southeast Queensland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular sales calls and meetings with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and promote our products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients, highlighting the unique value propositions of our products and services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong relationships
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyse market data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to stay updated on industry trends, build relationships, and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges, contributing to overall business insights and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable success in external sales, ideally within the building & construction industry
  • Resilience & self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively on all levels
  • Be highly organised & strategic in your sales approach
