Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Analytics and Systems Specialist. This is a critical role that requires the ability to manage complex data systems and provide timely support to users.

About the Role

The primary objectives of this position include:

  • Undertaking data management and system administration services within HRIS;
  • Performing day-to-day system user-support activities;
  • Undertaking end-of-pay-cycle and end-of-period activities to ensure payroll operations run smoothly;
  • Providing HR data and analytics services, including data capture, extraction, analysis, and reporting;
  • Supporting the implementation of time-sheeting solutions and other system enhancements;
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the operation of the Aurion system and managing technical environments;
  • Implementing system configuration changes to ensure compliance with various requirements under the direction of senior management;
  • Activating and reconciling payruns for Parliamentary Service and its clients;
  • Producing electronic pay files, including superannuation and various deductions, for approval prior to disbursement;
  • Assisting with ATO single-touch payroll reporting (STP) requirements and associated end-of-year processes;
  • Contributing to the identification and implementation of approved digital solutions to improve existing business processes;
  • Supporting the Parliamentary Service digitization strategy and related projects;
  • Contribute to pay cycle activities and establish deadlines to ensure timeframes are understood and adhered to;
  • Deliver appropriate system training, coaching, and support to staff and leaders;
  • Act as an advocate/change agent for utilization of system capability and self-service functions;
  • Maintain production and distribution of standard, customized, and ad hoc human resource/payroll reports from the Aurion system;
  • Capture, extract, analyze data, and produce reports for various HR and corporate reporting purposes.
