About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee category management, including recruitment, performance management, and strategic planning.

  • Maximise productivity and ensure effective time usage;
  • Develop and lead business development initiatives aligned with company objectives;
  • Conduct workshops to establish business processes and systems;
  • Ensure staff training in processes, software, and equipment;
  • Identify commercial opportunities for expansion through sourcing and developing new products;
  • Engage and source key suppliers;
  • Manage daily category operations, including planning, promotional activity, inventory management, shipping, and logistics;
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Promote continuous development of categories for customers;
  • Negotiate optimal trading terms and prices;
  • Control price changes across sales channels;
  • Oversee timely importation of products and stock management;
  • Monitor performance and complete range reviews;
  • C coach and mentor Assistant Category Manager;
  • Develop short-term and long-term plans and budgets based on company objectives.
