Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a key role that supports early childhood centres by assessing compliance and quality, leading fact-finding processes, and building capability through coaching and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct centre visits to assess compliance and quality standards.
  • Lead fact-finding and reporting on critical incidents or complaints.
  • Build capability through coaching, resources, and best practice sharing.

The role involves:

  • Compliance Verification: Verify compliance and quality standards against the National Quality Framework (NQF) and organisational expectations.
  • Fact Finding: Undertake fact-finding processes related to child harm complaints, or incidents where the allegations relate to a Centre Manager or where the Centre Manager Role is currently vacant.
  • Capability Building and Compliance Knowledge: Support teams in understanding and meeting compliance and quality expectations by identifying gaps and delivering targeted guidance and education.
  • Collaboration and Team Engagement: Effectively contribute to national and state-level quality and compliance objectives through strong collaboration, communication, and alignment with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • An approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Diploma or higher).
  • A minimum of 5 years working in the Australian Early Childhood Sector in a Centre Leadership Position.
