Job Details

TR3 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Grants Officer for a temporary 6-month contract based in Adelaide CBD.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Grants Officer to manage the Contract and Grant functions within a small state government agency. As a Grants Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Grants Program, including promotion, assessment, and distribution of grants as per agency policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the application and acquittal process, ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
  • Design and deliver detailed reports on grant outcomes and areas for improvement in the grant-making process.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the entire grant process in alignment with agency policy.

Requirements

  • Recent contract and grant management experience across a range of projects, within local, state or Australian government.
  • Attention to detail in managing grant programs, grant agreements, and managing the EOFY variation process.
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated capability with government procurement and tenders, including assessment processes.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to manage complex and competing timeframes across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting contract and project progress to key stakeholders (internal and external).
