About the Role

The Transitions Officer (APS4) plays a crucial role in supporting the Team Leader and ensuring the high-quality execution of grant lifecycle phases. This position is located in the Adelaide office of a Federal Government Agency, with an initial contract until 30/06/2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality check grant offer documents and provide clear advice to Round Coordinators on errors and discrepancies between sources.
  • Support the grant approval and execution process by providing clear recommendations to the delegate in relation to non-standard emails from grant recipients and other stakeholders.
  • Receive and process signed agreements, Deeds of Variation, Notices of Change, Deeds of Novation, and Deeds of Termination, and release payments where relevant.
  • Finalize requests and documents post-sign off by the delegate and ensure they are sent to the correct grant recipient.
  • Maintain workload databases to provide internal and external reporting and inform future projections.
  • Save relevant documentation to Archiving, Recordkeeping, and Compliance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements and Skills
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, able to obtain a Baseline clearance.
