Job Description

The primary role of the Case Support Worker is to undertake tasks that directly support the Case Management teams and the organisation in delivering high-quality, client centred support to adult and child victim-survivors of family violence.

This includes maintaining accurate client records, coordinating referrals, managing correspondence, and assisting with data and reporting.

The Case Support Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery by streamlining administrative processes, helping to build a comprehensive picture of client circumstances, and enabling Case Managers to focus on direct client support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development or a related field.

A foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics and impacts of family violence is essential. Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop skills in work with adults, young people, and children from diverse backgrounds facing a range of complex challenges in relation to family violence, homelessness, health and mental health, drug and alcohol use, trauma, and marginalization is also required.
