Event Coordinator Specialist

Standards Australia is undergoing significant transformation and growth, with a workforce doubling in recent years.
We now employ over 300 professionals dedicated to shaping Australia's future and fulfilling our mission of empowering communities.
The Front of House Coordinator role serves as the primary point of contact for meeting organisers and stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and support to ensure success of all events and meetings.
This includes oversight of front desk operations to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for visitors, coordination of daily mail collection and distribution, and ensuring all meeting rooms and employee kitchens are consistently clean and well-maintained.
Collaboration with colleagues is also key, to maximise efficient use of on-site meeting rooms, and management of relationships with external providers such as catering companies to ensure timely and flawless delivery of services.
Supporting Events and Facilities Managers with end-to-end planning and execution of events is another critical aspect of this role, ensuring every detail is coordinated seamlessly from initial concept through to final completion.
Additionally, acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors and suppliers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on event objectives is essential.
This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A relevant qualification in hospitality or a related field would be an advantage, but not essential.
We offer a range of benefits, including regular team events, additional personal/carer's leave, and ongoing training.
Our iCARE values - Integrity, Courage, Accountability, Respect and Excellence - form the basis of all we do, and we foster a culture of excellence in the workplace.
We are proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years.
