About the Role
Ahrens is seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing generalist HR support across our organization, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee communications.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including leave policies, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws, including employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain sensitive employee information.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
