Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review project documentation, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and pricing schedules to clients as per submission deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and apply accurate labour and material rates to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Maintain and apply standard costing methodologies and ensure all estimates align with company procedures, promoting consistency and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualification in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a trade-based background.
  • possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating, preferably in metal fabrication or industrial construction.
  • Be familiar with fabrication drawings, materials, and trade practices to effectively deliver results-oriented projects.
