As a Small Business Inclusion Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with spinal cord damage to live an accessible and empowered life.

The organisation's mission is to empower people with spinal cord damage through specialist services and fearless advocacy.

  • Deliver the Enabled business program in Ipswich, working collaboratively with the members services team and receiving direction from the Senior Advisor, Access, and Advocacy.
  • Identify businesses in the Ipswich and Sunshine Coast regions to approach about the Enabled Business program.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to individual businesses to promote the Enabled Business program and elicit interest from businesses in participating in the program.
  • Contribute to the development of representatives of small businesses to enhance their understanding of access and inclusion and improve it.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities with multiple stakeholders.
  • High-level computer skills, including confident use of MS Office.
  • Experience working with people with spinal cord injury or other significant disability is desirable.
