Employee Relations Specialist

This role involves advocating for and guiding our front-line leadership team on managing employment-related issues with autonomy to manage daily work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct end-to-end investigations into ER matters, including grievances, bullying, harassment, fraud, or misconduct cases
  • Prepare documents and responses for matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals
  • Represent the company at conciliations and dispute matters in the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals
  • Manage complex matters involving ill and injured team members
  • Provide leaders with recommendations, coaching, and advice on legislation, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Significant relevant experience in HR or ER IR roles, including investigations, case management, and employment labor laws
  • Excellent coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage with stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of ER IR legislation, jurisdictions, and policy applications, including experience with the Fair Work Commission and other relevant bodies
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, commercial orientation, effective time management, and ability to prioritize tasks
