Criminal Law Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal advocate to join our team. As a legal advocate, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to clients in the criminal law field.
Key responsibilities:- Represent clients in criminal law matters, including bail applications, pleas, summary trials, committal hearings, and higher court mentions.
- Provide duty lawyer services and legal advice to clients in the Magistrates and Children's Courts, including assisting clients in custody.
- Advocate for clients, prepare cases, and instruct counsel in all jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of quality legal services.
- A strong background in criminal law, with a focus on advocacy and client representation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal information and provide sound advice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
