About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to Partner to join our team at Budage Pty Limited in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-level support to a Partner and their team within our Major Projects & Construction Practice.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct and high-level administrative support to a Partner and team of legal practitioners, with a specific focus on supporting and managing high-level administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support for a Partner and team of practitioners within our MPC Practice.
- Manage general accounts, monthly billing, client reporting, and expenses with a keen eye for detail.
- File management and handling, including the opening and closing of matters.
- Undertake conflict searches on firm database and prepare conflict emails.
- Prepare client Work Orders and monitor budgets.
- Work as part of a cohesive team of Practice Administrators supporting the wider MPC team and be willing to step in and assist other MPC team members during busy periods.
Requirements
To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate with:
- Previous experience in an administrative and/or secretarial role, ideally in the legal sector.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- A flexible and proactive approach with a demonstrable drive to contribute to the business's success.
- The ability to build and nurture positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Advanced technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in billing processes, with previous experience using Aderant Expert software desirable.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
