We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Professional to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure major philanthropic partnerships and revenue for RMIT University.
- Key responsibilities include building a college-wide understanding of fundraising and its relationship to the university, serving as a key advisor to STEM College leadership, managing donor opportunities and portfolios, working within a network of Philanthropy, Alumni, and Industry engagement specialists to align strategies, activities, and relationship management.
To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in fundraising within a major organisation, including cultivation, gift closing, and stewardship. You will also possess excellent relationship building and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with RMIT staff, academics, administrators, and students as well as potential donors.
- You will have strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative solutions.
- A higher education qualification or equivalent experience is required.
- Relevant industry experience, preferably in medical research or STEM-related fundraising is essential.
