Philanthropy Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Philanthropy Coordinator to join our team.

The Philanthropy Coordinator plays a key role in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, coordinating the Gift in Wills program, and delivering inspiring philanthropy communications.

This involves working closely with senior team members to support the donor funded scholarships portfolio, bespoke campaign and stewardship opportunities, and engaging events.

The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative, dedicated, and high-performing team committed to making a lasting impact.

The role combines strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to support the University's philanthropic initiatives and help achieve ambitious fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders
  • Coordinate the Gift in Wills program and deliver inspiring philanthropy communications
  • Support the donor funded scholarships portfolio and bespoke campaigns
  • Deliver engaging events and stewardship opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in fundraising, business administration, or business development
  • Strong people engagement, relationship development and customer service orientation
  • Ability to proofread documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft software package (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
