Payroll Administrator

This role involves administering payroll functions efficiently in line with regulations, policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all payroll processes, ensuring compliance with governing bodies and maintaining the availability of the payroll system.
- Provide technical support and advice regarding the company's payroll and self-service system.
- Meet all statutory compliance requirements as per governing bodies.
- Deliver high-quality payroll service through efficient, timely, and accurate payroll processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries and offer timely, accurate advice on payroll matters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational requirements by adhering to relevant processes and controls.
- Participate in process improvement and system enhancement projects within the Performance and Reward and People & Culture teams.
- Fulfill Workplace Health & Safety responsibilities as per the company's WHS Policy.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Chris21/Oracle Payroll Systems is a MUST.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll and/or payroll administration.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR administration concepts, principles, and procedures.
- Understanding of relevant Awards and Agreements and their application.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating flexibility.
The successful candidate will receive an attractive hourly rate of $60 + super, plus training and handover provided. The position offers flexible working arrangements with WFH options on most days. Offices are located in the CBD with excellent amenities. 6-month contract. Monday to Friday, 40 hours. Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney locations available.
