Job Opportunity

As a Transport Supervisor, you will oversee daily transport operations to ensure a safe working environment and manage site risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Night Shift operations, ensuring adherence to work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance requirements are met and aligned with the operational plan
  • Monitor and assess transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring service levels are achieved
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with cartage contract and FoxLink requirements
  • Conduct daily and weekly reconciliation of assets, including inventory, pallets, and transport equipment
  • Optimise payloads to achieve commercial returns, implementing strategies for route and schedule success
  • Coordinate daily resource planning activities to align with forecast and budget plans
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to meet seasonal requirements effectively

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a leadership position within the Transport/Logistics sector
  • Proven ability to lead and nurture a high-performing team with confidence
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical with diverse system proficiencies
  • Self-motivated to accomplish and propel results
