About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Freight Coordinator to join our team at Brisbane Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day freight handling and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards, and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the loading & unloading of large volumes of cargo
  • Oversee forklift operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with OH&S requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow management to meet operational deadlines
  • Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in freight coordination, warehouse, or logistics operations
  • Strong understanding of air freight processes and warehouse safety standards
  • Proven ability to take initiative and lead by example
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level of reliability and accountability
  • Physical fitness for manual lifting as required
  • Confidence in handling and stacking heavy loads
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Licenses and Certifications

You must hold current certifications including LF Forklift License (essential) and Australian Driver's License & own transport.
