Spiritual Care Professional Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate and spiritually grounded individual to join our team as a Chaplain. This role involves providing pastoral care to staff and volunteers, attending regular meetings with site leaders, and promoting spiritual activities within the stores.

The successful candidate will have a mature spiritual and theological outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A Diploma in Chaplaincy or Clinical Pastoral Education is preferred, along with experience working with vulnerable people and a current Australian Driver's License.

  • Provide spiritual care to staff and volunteers through visitation and contact.
  • Attend sites regularly and engage with the team on a regular basis.
  • Attend leadership meetings and provide spiritual influence.
  • Organize and promote spiritual activities such as regular prayer times.
  • Promote available resources to staff and customers within the local area.
  • Participate in the promotion of our organization's missions, vision, and values within our stores.
  • Foster an environment where we encourage and support the stores and sites in community engagement and empower the workforce to pursue these initiatives.
