Construction Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards, aligning with company, client, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Overseeing the construction team to ensure they perform at the highest level, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinating and managing project resources, including people, materials, equipment, and processes, to meet client requirements within timelines and budget constraints.
  • Communication: Regularly communicating with the Project Manager, providing weekly reports, updates, and feedback on project progress.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations, reporting any incidents or near-misses to the relevant authorities.

The candidate will bring:

  • Technical Expertise: A technical certificate, tertiary education qualification, degree, or diploma in construction management or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 15+ years' experience in construction supervision, preferably in the mineral processing industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide mentoring and identify avenues for professional development and succession planning.
