Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

The Department is seeking a highly skilled Leasing/Property professional to support the management of commercial properties.

A major Government Agency requires an experienced Property Manager to assist in the administration of new and existing leases to ensure a national program is successfully delivered.

  • Conduct market research to identify suitable short-term property leases
  • Evaluate all sites against government requirements
  • Manage financial and data aspects of property administration
  • Coordinate minor fit-out works for optimal results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and Property Service Providers

This role involves working closely with outsourced property providers and requires:

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial property, preferably within the federal sector
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and establishing new commercial leases
  • Ideal understanding of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement guidelines

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate or Non-Ongoing contract plus exposure to a unique Government department.
