Job Overview

The successful IT Asset Manager will take the lead in managing the entire lifecycle of software assets across a large, complex ICT environment. This encompasses the strategic management of software inventory, licenses, and entitlements to ensure compliance and optimize costs.

This critical role is responsible for driving Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

If you bring a deep understanding of licensing models, hands-on ServiceNow experience, and excellent analytical skills, this is your chance to make a major impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage software asset visibility, usage, compliance, and lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain and enforce SAM policies and standards using ITIL-aligned practices.
  • Utilise ServiceNow (or similar) to track software assets, installations, and entitlements.
  • Provide insightful reports, support audits, and identify optimisation opportunities.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven IT Asset Management experience in medium-large ICT environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of major software vendor licensing (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
  • ServiceNow or similar tool experience in asset tracking and compliance.
  • Strong analytical reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
