Fire Systems Specialist

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia.
- Maintain fire alarm systems and associated infrastructure in accordance with applicable standards.
- Repair and install fire systems and infrastructure as required.
- Program Notifier systems and coordinate life safety system impairments for repairs, maintenance, and new installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire extinguishers and other equipment.
- Train site incident response personnel on the operation of life safety systems.
Requirements:
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certification at Level II or III – Fire Alarm Systems.
- A strong understanding of Work Health Safety (WHS) Act and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience working within Facility Maintenance or similar technical environment.
- A strong knowledge of technical terminology relating to Electrical infrastructure and electronic equipment.
- Experience with diverse range of fire systems and suppression equipment is highly regarded.
