Fire Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of fire protection systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection technology, including installation, inspection, testing, and repair of fire suppression systems, as well as fire alarm systems.
This role will involve working on various types of equipment and systems, including smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and fire pumps.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for identifying hazards and defects, and recommending corrective actions to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Additionally, this role will require the ability to read and interpret system design plans, building construction drawings, and other technical documents.
A minimum of five years of experience in the field is required, as well as NICET II or NICET III certification. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements- Must be a US or Australian citizen
- Minimum five years of experience working with fire protection equipment and systems
- Must possess NICET II or NICET III certification
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly or Australian PV clearance
This role will be located at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
