Fire Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Fire Protection Specialist.
About the RoleThis position involves performing technical repairs and maintenance on fire suppression equipment, ensuring facility infrastructure operates safely and effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Efficiently completing scheduled maintenance tasks for fire system components
- Identifying and addressing deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems
- Conducting inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression equipment and associated infrastructure
- Performing repairs and installations of wet and dry suppression systems and associated infrastructure
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment, and systems
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) II or III certification in inspection and testing of water-based systems
- A strong understanding of work health and safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working in facility maintenance or a similar technical environment
- A solid understanding of electrical infrastructure and electronic equipment terminology
Candidates with NICET I or II certifications in fire alarm systems or special hazards systems will be viewed favorably. Additionally, applicants must be U.S. citizens with a Top Secret/Security Clearance or higher.
