Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and inspect smoke and fire suppression systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Alarm System Inspection and Testing: Inspect, test, and repair fire alarm wiring, panels, and peripheral equipment, identifying any defects or hazards.
  • Hazard Identification and Repair: Identify potential hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, taking prompt action to prevent accidents.
  • Detection and Suppression System Maintenance: Inspect, repair, or replace smoke/heat detectors and sprinkler heads, maintaining system integrity.
  • System Testing and Diagnostics: Test wet/dry systems; test fire alarm system devices using diagnostic programs and test equipment, ensuring accurate readings.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Citizenship: Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience working with fire protection equipment and systems.
  • Certifications: Must possess NICET II or NICET III certification.
  • Qualifications: Must possess and maintain qualifications in accordance with US DoD UFC, or Australian equivalent acceptable to the USG.
