Sports Turf Management Apprentice Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an apprentice sports turf manager at Ringwood Golf Course.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and repair turf areas, including greens, tees, fairways, landscaping, roughs, and nature strips associated with the golf course.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of golf areas, including any damaged or dangerous ground fixtures.
  • Complete daily diary, machinery pre-start checklists, chemical usage forms, and other relevant documentation.
  • Participate in TAFE studies associated with the four-year apprenticeship.
  • Perform irrigation duties, including operation of automatic and manual irrigation systems and repairs and maintenance of those systems.
  • Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with safety standards.

  • Commitment and dedication to TAFE studies.
  • Driver's license essential.
