Job Title: Sports Turf Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sports Turf Maintenance Specialist to lead the maintenance and presentation of our premier sporting facilities.

This role requires a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards related to turf and machinery, as well as a commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and upholding Council's values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-end grass and hybrid playing surfaces to professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S standards and relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to maintain the quality of turf and grounds.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (post-trade certificate desirable).
  • Previous experience maintaining high-end grass and hybrid playing surfaces.
  • Current Victorian Driver's License.
  • Medium Rigid Vehicle License (minimum).
  • Chemical Users License.
  • Traffic Control and Worksite Management Certificate.
  • Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
