The Role

Turf Manager Position Overview:

As Turf Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of training and racing surfaces, working closely with our General Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage sports turf surfaces, ensuring daily horse training requirements are met and tracks are prepared for 38 scheduled race meetings per season.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing sports turf surfaces.
  • Qualification: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
  • Hands-on, highly motivated individual with strong knowledge of agricultural and turf machinery.
  • Experience in irrigation systems, sand-based profiles, warm and cool season turf management.
