Senior Experience Designer

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Experience Designer to join our team at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a key member of our Digital domain, you'll play a crucial role in transforming the Comm Bank app and Netbank experience used by millions of Australians daily.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to create innovative experiences that empower our customers at scale. You'll lead discovery initiatives that shape future digital experiences, aligning customer needs to business outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering core, product-agnostic digital experiences and features, alongside a scalable IA and seamless navigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery initiatives to shape future digital experiences
  • Deliver core, product-agnostic digital experiences and features
  • Establish documentation and governance processes to maintain asset integrity
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, researchers, and UI designers to translate customer insights into innovative solutions
  • Advocate for human-centered design process and promote best research practices across the organisation
  • Mentor designers to foster a positive culture of creativity and continuous learning

  • Experience in creating experience frameworks for cohesive native and web experiences
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to use analytics to inform design decisions
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to inspire senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
