Job Title:
Senior Structural Engineer - Water and Wastewater Design
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design. They will also possess knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes. Additionally, they will have experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects, a commitment to working safely, and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.

As a senior structural engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions that meet their requirements. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
