Working in a dynamic environment, we're seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team.

This exciting opportunity is for someone with experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines. Key responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations, modeling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications.

We're looking for a talented engineer who can build strong client relationships, understand our clients' core business needs, and provide solutions and services to clients both on and off-site.

In this role, you'll be part of a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and continuous improvement. You'll have opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as mentorship from experienced engineers.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  3. Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  4. Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
  5. Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
  6. A commitment to working safely, and within the company's HSEQ systems
  7. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
  8. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
