As a Senior Water Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Water Engineer to join our team. You will have experience in design engineering, review of design requirements, site investigations, calculations, modeling, oversight of drafting, and preparation of reports and specifications.
You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, providing solutions and services to clients both on and off site. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as mentorship from experienced engineers.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
- Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
- Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design-related risks
- Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
- A commitment to working safely and within our company's HSEQ systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
- Ability to travel on occasions as the work requires
