Associate, Corporate and Commercial Lawyer

Our client is a major Australian law firm with a leading reputation.

They focus on delivering outstanding client service, driving operational excellence, and setting new standards in employee experience by fostering a supportive and innovative workplace culture.

Their Norwest office is now looking for an Associate level lawyer to work in their Corporate & Commercial team.

About the role

We are actively seeking an Associate Lawyer with expertise in corporate & commercial law to join a well regarded specialist team.

They prioritise personal growth and career objectives, while connecting you with highly skilled and motivated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in front-end commercial work and drafting transactional documentation
• Managing business, asset, and purchase transactions, including conducting and reviewing buyer and seller due diligence
• Advising on company structuring, drafting constitutions, shareholders agreements, and navigating Corporations Act compliance
• Negotiating and preparing procurement, supply, and distribution agreements
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior legal team members

About you

You will have 5+ years PQE, ideally with experience in PPSR, IP/IT and franchisor work.

in addition, you will have:

• Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions with a well-regarded firm
• Expertise in procurement, supply chain, and distribution contracts
• Highly motivated with a positive, proactive approach to work and life
• Strong strategic insight and critical thinking skills
